Are you or a loved one looking for support group for Brain AVMs? Well
theres no tear-soaked, sugar coated sections here. I'm not a cold
hearted bastard, quite the opposite. Ive been through the AVM ringer.
The things that went wrong with my brain and are still going on in my
head happen to only 0.0004% of people and the past ten years have had
had me at rock bottom in EVERY way. Theres plenty of sympathy out there,
well its ALL sympathy coupled with dry medical factoids. I wanted to
weild my web powers for evil and look at AVMs in a differnt light. Let's
all us brain damaged people use this crappy card we've been delt as a
Superpower of sorts. I have had it with feeling like a powerless kid (
46yr old actually ) with a freakshow sized eyeball or something. But
enough about me, let me tell you about me.
This is going to be
the whole story in one long page until I can break it up into managable
bites. So get your scroll finger all lubed up! Here are sections:
1) Wreck a motorcycle, return it to Avis, keep the deposit!
2) Doctor gives out free drugs for my subdurial but see find the BONUS AVM!
3) Falling down a flight of stairs after eating a Halloween muffin from a girls lap, neurovascularly-related?
4) A ten year rise in career and personal happiness, perfect time for the AVM to join the party
5) Scan, pills, scan, gamma, pills, crash = drooling baby loses speach, memory, motor skills, house, job.
When
I was at my worse, I apparently did nothing but grab the boobs of any
female within arms reach of my hospital bed. If you think I'm kidding - I
have video footage of PT sessions lunging at the theropists chest like a
person clawing for a life preserver. Not sure how to post that online
without getting this site redefined as porn. One such story that my
sister regailed was that one of the physical theripist requested a
transfer to a different floor to avoid my groapings. Once you can get
back to brushing your teeth and get back out to the working world - you
can no longer feel people up and say you have a brain malformation
though many have tried. We are getting ahead of ouselves...
